Bryan Duplantier is a fifth-generation New Orleans native who traces his roots back to French immigrants who arrived in the 1800s.

His ancestors include Armand Duplantier, Sr., who served as aide-de-camp to the Marquis de Lafayette during the American Revolution. Food & Wine — For the last 25 years, Mr. Duplantier has been an active member of the Bacchus Wine Club and the Howling Wolves, an informal group of bon vivants.

Skiing — Whether it’s alpine or water, Mr. Duplantier is an avid skier whose favorite spot is on the slopes of Vail, Colorado and behind any Ski Nautique.

Music — Mr. Duplantier is an aficionado any music, from acoustic jazz to adult alternative, which lures him to venues throughout the Big Easy.
