Bryan Duplantier is a fifth-generation New Orleans native who traces his roots back to French immigrants who arrived in the 1800s.
His ancestors include Armand Duplantier, Sr., who served as aide-de-camp to the Marquis de Lafayette during the American Revolution. Fast-forward to the present, and you’ll learn Bryan Duplantier is a devoted family man who enjoys a rich life outside his professional career, pursuing a number of personal interests.
Fishing & Hunting — Mr. Duplantier is a member of the Pintail Club in Hopedale, LA, which often sees him angling from his 23’ Bay Ranger.
Tennis — Members of the Metairie Country Club enjoy lively matches with Mr. Duplantier, who holds a solid 3.5 rating from the USTA.
Food & Wine — For the last 25 years, Mr. Duplantier has been an active member of the Bacchus Wine Club and the Howling Wolves, an informal group of bon vivants.
Skiing — Whether it’s alpine or water, Mr. Duplantier is an avid skier whose favorite spot is on the slopes of Vail, Colorado and but now wishing he could be behind Ski Nautique running a course.
Music — Mr. Duplantier is an aficionado of most music, from jazz to adult alternative, which lures him to venues throughout the Big Easy.
Mardis Gras — Each year, you can find Mr. Duplantier the Friday before Carnival, parading alongside the other members of Krewe of Hermes.
